Krav Maga was developed in Hungary Czechoslovakia in the 1930s by Imi Lichtenfeld, also known as Imi Sde-Or. (Sde-Or - "Light Field" - is a calque of his surname into Hebrew.) He first taught his fighting system in Bratislava in order to help protect the Jewish community from Nazi militias. Upon arriving in the British Mandate of Palestine prior to the establishment of the Jewish state, Imi began teaching hand-to-hand combat to the Haganah, the Jewish in 1948, Imi became the Chief Instructor of Physical Fitness and Krav Maga at the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) School of Combat Fitness. He served in the IDF for about 20 years, during which time he continued to develop and refine his hand-to-hand combat method. He died in January 1988 in Netanya, Israel.
I started to practice a professional sailing and I greatly enriched my experience.
Having sailed in the Mediterranean I changed my esperinenza work, turning the world as a sailing instructor for the famous group Club Med, but only in the summer, I learned the French and a little Spanish and I met lots of people.
City by Day.
In winter I have started practising Ju-Jitsu, Aikido, Judo, KJS and Krav Maga, with my great Master and Friend Alfonso Torregrossa, in my city of origin.
I was very keen to these disciplines, and especially the KJS and Krav Maga,
I took the orange belts: Ju-Jitsu, Judo and Aikido, KJS black and blue for Krav Maga following a Class assistant instructor with the Master Torregrossa, continuing even now to be under his directions for improvement and to teach basic Krav Maga, the better.
After experience at Club Med began working in Istanbul to "Istanbul Yelken Kulubu" before moving with great happiness at the "Istanbul Sailing Academy, where still teach.
